I'm expecting this to be a fantastic week! The kids only have school for 4 days and then they'll be out of school until January 3rd. It should be a fun week for them too, as they may have a couple of quizzes, but it's mainly a Review Week in their classes!
Here's what I'd like to accomplish both today and for the week:
TODAY:
Hubby is out of town for 4 days this week, so it'll be easy stuff all week
It shouldn't be too big of a trip. Mainly we need food for lunch and breakfast.
As much as I can manage before 4:00 or so! I'm tackling it in my kitchen today instead of on top of my bed. It's getting folded on my kitchen table and will be ready for the boys to put away as soon as they walk in from school.
Yea! One of my favorite days of the month. Today we'll have lunch and discuss The Kitchen House.
I'm behind on my homework and need to read 3 days of assignments.
THIS WEEK:
I met my friends for a 3 mile run this morning and want to meet them at least 2 more days this week. I have a feeling I'll lack the motivation to get out of bed and meet for our morning runs while the boys are home for Christmas Break.
Budgets
I finished our November numbers and just need to get them into the computer. And also finalize the Decmeber budget (I know...I know...it's mid-December and I still haven't done this)
Hem Pants
I have 2 pair of jeans that need to be hemmed. I'm wearing one of them to a party Friday night, so this has to get done this week.
Everything has been bought and wrapped. I need to put bows on a couple of gifts and I need to mail 2 or 3 packages still.
Work in the Yard
I have bulbs that I need to plant this week. I also want to fertilize my azaleas and trim some bushes. I'm still tackling my woods and want to continue working on cleaning up the vines all over my Willow tree. I need Mr. Steady to mow and then we need to order/lay pine straw in the flower beds.
Finish up and mail.
Work on Dining Room Wall
I have a fairly blank wall in my dining room that I haven't liked since we moved in 3 years ago. I've been collecting stuff to hang and would like to work on this project some this week.
So that's it. Not too much going on, luckily! It should be a fun week to tackle these pending projects!

It sounds like a very busy week for you! Congrats on getting all the Christmas stuff done...we still need to decorate!
You have a ton going on! I'm hoping to tackle my mountain of laundry today & get organized for the rest of December. I need to pack for a few trips, make lists for what I'm bringing various places, and work on the budget. Always, the budget. ;)
