And I mean really clean?
I really don't like cleaning my house and always dread it. I usually do a little bit every day just to break it up, but I'm wondering if I just did it ALL in one day how long would it really take? Sometimes dreading a project is much worse than the actual project itself. Maybe if I just cleaned the entire house in a day and saw how long it took, it would actually be better than cleaning the bathrooms one day, doing laundry one day, the floors another day, etc.
Do you like cleaning? Do you clean all in a day or do a little bit each day?

It's a little each day for me unless we have company coming in then I do a big clean in one day. Good luck to you!!
About 5 yrs ago I hired two cleaning ladies to clean my house spic and span before my son's baptism since we were hosting the party here. It took two ladies plus me 8 hours. Mind you we cleaned light fixtures and blinds, scrubbed ovens, fridges, and dusted absolutely every thing in sight, so that is why it took sooo long. But my house was sparkling for the party. It's been 5 years since it was THAT clean. We three kids I am happy if it's decluttered and cleanish. And I do a little bit everyday.
Honestly, I pay someone. We are very clean (I do my own laundry, dishes, make the beds every day, pick up all clutter, vacuum sporadically through the week, clean all surface areas, etc), but we are neat freaks & still need that extra help. My husband travels a ton, & the house just doesn't get 100% clean unless we can focus on it - which never happens. I cut a ton of budget categories to make this a reality.
@Debby - Normally I do a little each day, but hate the fact that it seems like I'm always cleaning. I'm going to see if it makes a difference (in attitude) to do most of it all in a day.
@Bette - I feel like the house is always at its cleanest when we're selling it!
@HP - Yes - if both my husband and I worked full time AND he'd traveled, having someone help me with the house would be a top priority!
